This Privacy Policy describes how Campbell Street Ventures, LLC d/b/a Duesy (“Duesy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service” or “Platform”). It also explains your choices and rights with respect to your personal information.

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our applicable Terms of Service (the User Terms and Operator Terms, as applicable).

1. Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

Words with capitalized initial letters have meanings defined below. The following definitions have the same meaning whether they appear in singular or plural.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • “Account” means a unique account or profile created for you to access or use our Platform or features of the Platform.
  • “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means Campbell Street Ventures, LLC d/b/a Duesy.
  • “Country” refers to the United States of America.
  • “Cookies” are small files placed on your computer, mobile device, or other device by a website or service.
  • “Device” means any device that can access the Platform, such as a computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
  • “Operator” or “Organization” means a club, team, tournament operator, league, or other entity that uses Duesy to manage activities, communicate with participants, or collect payments.
  • “End User” means any individual (such as a parent, guardian, player, spectator, or coach) who interacts with the Platform via links, messages, or payments, typically at the direction of an Operator.
  • “Personal Data” means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • “Service” or “Platform” means Duesy’s communication, scheduling, ticketing, payment, and information-delivery tools, including our website, web-based tools, SMS/text messaging, and any related services.
  • “Service Provider” means any third-party company or individual that processes data on our behalf, including providers of hosting, analytics, messaging, and payment processing.
  • “Usage Data” means data collected automatically, generated by your use of the Platform or from the Platform infrastructure itself (for example, pages visited, time on page, or device identifiers).
  • “Website” means our site at https://meetduesy.com and any related pages or subdomains.
  • “You” means the individual accessing or using the Platform, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf such individual is accessing or using the Platform (for example, an Operator).

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways:
(1) information you provide to us directly,
(2) information collected automatically when you use the Platform, and
(3) information provided by Operators about their participants and contacts.

A. Information You Provide Directly

Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect:

  • Contact Information – name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address.
  • Account Information – login credentials, profile details, communication preferences.
  • Payment-Related Information – payment card details (such as card numbers) are collected and tokenized directly by our payment partners in your browser—Duesy does not receive or store full card numbers. We receive only limited payment information necessary to facilitate transactions (for example, the last four digits of a card, a payment token, and transaction amounts).
  • Organization Details (for Operators) – organization name, role, contact information, event details, pricing, and other administrative information.
  • Communications – messages you send to us (support requests, feedback) or responses to surveys and forms.

B. Information Provided by Operators About End Users

Operators may provide us with information about End Users so that we can send messages, deliver tickets, or facilitate payments and communications. This may include:

  • Names of participants, parents, or guardians
  • Contact information (such as mobile number or email)
  • Team or roster information
  • Event registration details and payment history

In these situations, the Operator is generally the “controller” of the End User Personal Data, and Duesy acts as a “service provider” or “processor” on the Operator’s behalf.

C. Usage Data and Device Information

When you use or interact with the Platform, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages or screens viewed, time and date of visits, time spent on pages
  • Clicks, navigation, and other interaction data
  • Diagnostic and performance information

D. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels and web beacons) to operate, analyze, and improve the Platform.

Examples include:

  • Necessary Cookies – to enable core functions like page navigation, security, and access control.
  • Preferences/Functionality Cookies – to remember your settings or preferences.
  • Analytics/Performance Cookies – to understand how users interact with the Platform and to test features.

You can control Cookies through your browser settings. If you disable Cookies, some features of the Platform may not function properly.

3. How We Use Personal Data

We use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Operate the Platform
    • Deliver communications and tickets
    • Facilitate payments and receipts
    • Enable Operators to manage events, rosters, and schedules
  • To Manage Accounts and Relationships
    • Create and maintain Operator and End User accounts
    • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • To Communicate With You
    • Send confirmations, reminders, updates, and alerts related to your use of the Platform or your Organization’s activities
    • Send administrative messages about changes to our terms, policies, or Platform
  • To Support Payments and Transactions
    • Process and reconcile payments on behalf of Operators
    • Provide transaction records and related information
  • To Improve and Develop the Platform
    • Analyze usage trends and performance
    • Test new features and functionality
    • Maintain security and prevent misuse or fraud
  • To Conduct Business Operations
    • Support audits, compliance, and legal obligations
    • Evaluate or conduct business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales
  • To Create Aggregated or Anonymized Data
    • We may create aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies an individual.
    • We may use this data to analyze trends, improve the Platform, and develop new features.

We do not sell identifiable personal information about Operators or End Users.

4. How We Share Personal Data

We may share Personal Data in the following circumstances:

  • With Operators (for End Users)
    If you are an End User, information related to your participation, tickets, payments, or communications may be shared with the Operator managing the relevant events or programs.
  • With Service Providers
    • We share information with third-party Service Providers that help us operate the Service, such as:
      • hosting and infrastructure providers
      • analytics services
      • messaging/SMS providers
      • payment processors and financial partners
    • These Service Providers process data on our behalf and are obligated to use it only as instructed by us.
  • For Business Transfers
    • We may share or transfer Personal Data in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
  • With Affiliates
    • We may share information with our corporate affiliates, who are required to honor this Privacy Policy.
  • With Your Consent or at Your Direction
    • We may share information when you direct us to do so or consent to such sharing.
  • For Legal and Safety Reasons
    • We may disclose Personal Data if required by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
      • comply with legal obligations or lawful requests
      • protect and defend our rights or property
      • investigate or prevent potential wrongdoing
      • protect the safety of users or the public
      • protect against legal liability

5. Operators as Controllers; Duesy as Service Provider/Processor

When an Operator uses the Platform to upload or manage information about End Users, the Operator is typically the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing that data. In those cases:

  • The Operator is the “controller” (or similar term under applicable law).
  • Duesy acts as a “service provider” or “processor” on behalf of the Operator.

Operators are responsible for:

  • obtaining any required consents from End Users (including consents for messaging);
  • providing their own privacy notices where required; and
  • complying with applicable privacy and data-protection laws.

If you have questions about how your Organization uses your information, you should contact the Organization directly.

6. Retention of Personal Data

We retain Personal Data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • providing the Platform;
  • complying with legal, tax, and accounting requirements;
  • resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), requires us to disclose how long we retain each category of personal information, or the criteria we use to determine retention periods.

Retention by Category of Personal Information:

  • Identifiers (name, email, phone number, IP address) – Retained for the duration of your relationship with us or the relevant Operator, plus up to 6 years thereafter to comply with legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.
  • Commercial Information (transaction history, payment records) – Retained for up to 7 years after the transaction to satisfy financial reporting, tax, and audit requirements.
  • Communications Records (SMS consent, opt-in/opt-out history, message logs) – Retained for up to 6 years to document consent and comply with telecommunications regulations.
  • Internet or Network Activity (Usage Data, device information, browsing activity) – Generally retained for up to 24 months, unless needed longer for security, fraud prevention, or legal purposes.
  • Inferences (preferences or characteristics derived from other data) – Retained only as long as the underlying data from which they were derived.

We may retain personal information longer where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Your California Privacy Rights: California residents have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, as well as the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. 7. International Transfers

Personal Data may be processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where we or our Service Providers operate. These locations may have different data-protection laws than the laws in your jurisdiction.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that your Personal Data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy when it is transferred.

8. Security of Personal Data

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Personal Data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of devices and accounts you use to access the Platform.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Platform is used in connection with youth sports, but we do not knowingly collect Personal Data directly from children under 13.

  • Any information about a child under 13 is provided to us by a parent, guardian, or Operator.
  • If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with Personal Data directly, please contact us at support@duesy.me.
  • If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data directly from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.

Operators are responsible for complying with laws applicable to children’s data, including obtaining any required parental consents.

10. Your Choices

Depending on how you use the Platform, you may have the following choices:

  • Communications – You may opt out of certain informational or marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email. For SMS/text messages, you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.
  • Cookies – You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
  • Information Managed by Operators – If your information is managed by an Operator (for example, your club or tournament), you may need to contact the Operator directly to update or delete your information.

We will honor your rights and choices in accordance with applicable law.

11. Links to Other Websites

The Platform may contain links to websites or services that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above.

In some cases, we may provide additional notice (for example, by email or a notice within the Platform) when changes are material.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
